 We don't advertise ourselves as the lowest cost hosting provider on the internet. There are a few reasons why not:
- It would be a lie. There is a startup, reportedly, in Omaha that will send you free chinchillas for hosting with them. We simply can't let our chinchillas go that cheap.
- Hosting isn't our primary business.
- Hosting is pretty boring. Heck, your local telephone and cable companies provide hosting; and they're not exactly known for their personality.
So if there are so many compelling reasons for not being in the hosting business, why do we bother?
Maintaining our own servers gives us more flexibility and control over restrictions, bandwidth and security - which is nice. But most importantly, our hosting options allow us to offer our customers monthly packages that include hosting, bandwidth, and website maintenance.
In a way, we're like the Wal-Mart of web presence: we'll do everything for you under one roof, and you'll still get a greeting and a hug on the way in.
